Apparently we don't have TV back in our house. I was mislead considering TV was being watched in the living when I got home today. It was just whatever channels came through clear.

I will now be annoyed and frustrated the rest of the evening. :(

Two F's Cause it's Frakin Friday!!  Yay! BSG is on in 9 minutes so this will be a quickie post.

Verizon TV is hooked back up so at least I can watch BSG. No Verizon internet yet though. Still borrowing service for that. More later or tomorrow. Already added today's photo to my 365 album.

I love to watch The Big Bang Theory. I received Season 1 in the mail today and have been watching Disc 1. Good stuff. My 365 picture for today is a picture of it playing on my TV. Tonight I am not {sniff sniff} going with Rose to see Kathy Griffin. I'm just not up to it yet. Am afraid if I go I will not get back to work or be better for the weekend which is already approaching. As it is, I HAVE to be better to get out of the house tomorrow evening and hijack someone's TV in order to watch BSG.

I also posted a new book to my the {I am reading} photo album. I was able to put the {365} pictures into order and added captions to some of the photos as well. Just me being obsessive and compulsive. There is also a list of songs that {i listen to} you can click on the songs and check them out.

Time for Grace and me to venture out of the bedroom and look for food and beverage. I'm hungry and parched.

:: day 2 of the ickies ::

I've been sick for 2 days now. Am really hoping that tomorrow I will at least be well enough to go to a show that Rose and I got tickets for in the city. We are going to see Kathy Griffin. You know the loud mouth red head. Rose and I have a mutual appreciation for her. It's a long story about how we figured out this mutual appreciation but it was a funny discovery. It's one of those "you had to be there" things.

I've been steadily working on organizing my digital photo files that I have on my laptop. So far I sorted them into decades, then years, then seasons. I have the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, then 2000, 2001, etc. Only since 2000 do I sort them by season. In between sorting, I've been reading a book (finished a whole one in about 30 hours) and made two more blog headers.

I'm trying to figure out a better tag line for Babydog and tennis ball one. Any ideas? Leave a comment. I have another week to finish sorting through photos, making sure their tags are correct and adding a date to the scanned ones. Scanned photos come up with the date that they were scanned. So in my PSE Organizer they then don't come up in date order, technically they are in "scanned order". I have to change that. Time consuming but it will get done. I then have to sort through photos that I have in photo boxes from my Mom. I'm not expecting to have those done before the next class assignment though. That's just not happening.

My butt is sore from sitting in bed, my back hurts and I just have general body aches from being sick period. My fever keeps coming back usually overnight which is typical of a virus. I've also gotten through Season 2 of Two and a half Men. I've caught up on Fringe and LOST online but won't be able to catch up on anything else online with the {ahem} borrowed internet connection I'm using right now. No TV or internet connection right now. It's not my story to tell so I won't. Let's just hope it will be good by Friday night because I can't NOT watch BSG! So anyone that lives in a few miles radius be prepared for me to ring your bell at 9:45 so I can warm up a spot for myself by the nearest free TV in your house. Robyn, Eagle, Mom, Lorna this means you guys!! :) Hmm Meg, you're off the hook, you live in Jersey and I know you'll be away at a Crop,, so have fun scrapping. Stacey and Tara you guys are definitely off the hook because while I love BSG I just don't think the round trip airfare would be justified for a 1 hour TV show.

Right now I'm off to straighten up my room a bit. Magazines and books have exploded since I've been home. Then I will check out FB for a peek to see what all are up to. Then I will lie down and read a bit before my evening Tylenol dose and sleep.

So, I'm glad to see that my usual readers have been showing up to see the new place. Perhaps over the next few weeks I will invite newbies to check out the space. Not sure who has looked around and checked out the new stuff I have in the sidebars. In the top right, I have two photo albums. The top one is my 365 photo project. I have been keeping up with that, I just haven't organized all the pictures in order to post them since somewhere during the end of January. The other album is full of my scrapbook pages. There are quite a few in there. Some I still need to post but I haven't created jpeg files for them yet. When I do they'll be in there.

Anyone ever try out the new Amazon mobile service on their cell phone? I have it. I love it. On Saturday it let me know that WiiFit was in stock via a text message. At first I did not pay much attention to it because usually that just means that by the time the text reached my phone they are out of stock already. But yay for us! When I went to add it to my cart it went in and when I hit 1-click to checkout it went through. 1-Click is awesome and dangerous at the same time. What else can you do with Amazon Mobile. You can take a picture of something while in the application. It automatically send the picture to Amazon and then Amazon emails you with similiar items. This morning I sent Amazon a picture of the bottle of Lipton Diet Green Tea sitting on my nightstand. It emailed me about 3-4 minutes later with this page.

I know it's the little things that excite me. But how cool is that!

Alright, what else. On Thursday one of the directors gave out a rose to each female that was around. I thought it was going to be the only flower that I got for Valentine's Day but my Mom and Anita surprised me and sent me flowers. Daisies, my favorite. Tulips are a favorite of mine, too. I bought my self some tulips on Sunday after Church at Key Food. I love when Spring is coming around because it's Flower time!! I always bought myself tulips to place around my house when I was in Jersey because they are just so pretty. Hope Alexa and Deb like tulips because they are gonna see them around here all the time this spring. Especially since Key Food carries very pretty ones and they're inexpensive.

Can I admit it here that I'm tired of my iPhone because of it's touch screen keyboard and automatic spellcheck. The touch screen rocks for everything else. Is it sad that I kinda hope the battery malfunctions on it or something. An excuse to get something different with a real keyboard,, real keys to press. Poor iPhone, I love you anyway.

So tomorrow it's go back to work day. Boooo. But 3 more sleeps until I go see Kathy Griffin with Rose. Then of course 4 sleeps until Friday and another episode of Battlestar Galactica. Time to end here. Still a few things I want to do before bed time.

She's been snuggled up on the bed near me all evening while I've dusted off my Typepad blog configuring skills and my digital scrapbooking skills while getting this place ready for you all. It's been awhile since I've designed anything and had a ton of stuff to move over here and work out some bugs. I'm sure I will have to make some changes as the days go on.
